Congratulations to all medal winners and participants from A.M.A. tournament held on 4/12 @ Chabot College. We came back with 14 Gold, 11 Silver, and 19 Bronze medals form Sparring and Form competitions.

Parents club

Introducing parents club at U.S. Taekwondo Academy, a parents Volunteer club to support events and activities. This year, we will need a lot of experts to help out with outdoor activities and belt promotion exam events. These are the areas where we need your help with at parents club:

• Fund raising director
• Activity director
• Belt promotion day pot luck coordinator
• Tournament coordinator

As a member you will be able to work out for free twice a month with a free uniform provided. Come and join us!

Upcoming Events

5/9: Belt Promotion Exam.
Please be at the studio by 6:00 sharp for the test. Parents, please help students to memorize and recite the rules and questions. There will be refreshments served afterwards. No regular classes will be held due to the exam. All medal winners from A.M.A. should be present for the medal ceremony.

New Uniforms

A.M.A. (America’s Martial Arts Association) Uniforms are on sale for $69.00. This new uniform is designed to distinguish high belts from low belts in three different levels. It is a great birthday present wrapped and ready to go.

Summer Special

There will be no 7:30 kids classes on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday starting in July. Please make a note of it.

School is almost over and we would like to have lots of young martial artists practicing together. Bring in a friend for summer and we will give an instant prize. More details to follow.
